Hi, everyone! Elliott here! I just wanted to write a brief introductory post, outlining what this site is, what I’ll be doing with it, and what I hope you guys (my readers) will get out of this site.

There are two parts of this site to explore: the blog and the stories. Firstly, though, the blog (which you are reading now).
Every Friday, there will be a new main blog post. The aim of these blog posts is to help you with your writing, provide inspiration if you are stuck, and to examine how others write successfully. They will usually be a lot longer than this first post – this is just an introduction. I want to iterate that by no means am I an expert on writing and storytelling – I have yet to publish anything. However, I am pretty experienced (been writing nearly five years now) and my work has garnered some praise, from prospective agents and from beta readers alike. According to their feedback, my prose is especially strong, though my storytelling is not weak either.
There will also be occasional additional blog posts. These will usually be published Monday to Wednesday, with up to three additional blog posts in a week (not including the main blog posts). These blog posts will be less focussed on a particular topic, delving into anything from politics to book reviews, a tapestry of my varied interests.
Alongside the blog posts are stories. Specifically, at the moment, the story being published is Reavers. This is an urban fantasy work (with some vague SciFi elements) following the Reaver Society – an organisation of magicians, essentially – as they combat foes and deal with their newest recruit: George Marsh.

New chapters of Reavers will be published every Saturday on this website (first chapter coming tomorrow!) and every Sunday on Wattpad (SecretWriter575). There are nearly fifteen chapters already written and ready to post. I’m really looking forward to seeing what you guys think!
